GET SOURCE CODE OF ANY ANDROID APP ( REVERSE ENGINEERING )

Hey guys , today i will tell you a simple procedure through  which you can easily get source code of any android app.


REQUIREMENTS
First download tools required to extract source code .
DOWNLOAD TOOL ( 2.35 MB )


PROCEDURE
1-Firstly extract  downloaded apk reverse engg.rar file in a single folder.
2-Now take the .apk which you want to use and rename it from .apk to .zip
3- Now extract .zip and you will get a file classes.dex
4-Now copy this classes.dex to dex2jar-0.0.9.15 folder
5- Now copy cmd.exe(download ) to your dex2jar-0.0.9.15 folder
6-Open cmd.exe and type
dex2jar classes.dex

7- Now go to jd-gui.exe ( you will get when you extract above downloaded file)
8-Click on File then click on open file and browse to  dex2jar-0.0.9.15 folder and click on file classes_dex2jar and open it.

9- Now you can easily view source code of required android app.

 1-  EASTER EGG

Each version of android has a special little hidden interactive  animation to show off the version of android version you are currently running.
To find this cool animation you have to follow simple steps

• Go to SETTING .

• Move to ABOUT DEVICES .

• Tap on ANDROID VERSION repeatedly untill you see some animation .

•  Wait after seeing some animation tap again long and you will a sweet cool game/animation .

2- ACTIVATE DEVELOPERS OPTION

•  To active the DEVELOPER OPTIONS .

• Go to SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE

• Then tap on BUILD NUMBER 7 TIMES, then a message will be displayed that you are now a developer .

Now you will see a new DEVELOPER OPTIONS under your SETTING menu which has many cool tools.

3- IMPROVE BATTERY LIFE AND PERFORMANCE

• Go to  SETTINGS.

• Then go to  DEVELOPER OPTIONS , scroll down to see BACKGROUND PROCESS LIMIT option .

• Then click on it and set the background process to NO BACKGROUND PROCESS  to increase phone battery and performance.

4- INCREASE PHONE SPEED ( apps loading time)

• Go to SETTING>DEVELOPERS OPTION>SELECT RUNTIME.

• Click on it and change to  USE ART.

• Phone will reboot after  this.

COMPILE AND DECOMPILE ANDROID APPS BY APKTOOL - GUIDE

If you want to modify android apps then you need to first decompile .apk then only you can modify apps content .
so in this guide i will tell us you how you can modify any android app component.
(  THIS GUIDE IS ONLY FOR WINDOWS USERS)

HERE WE GO.....

STEP 1-  Install JAVA - Go HERE  .

STEP 2- Download Apktool ( Package)

 STEP 3- Using apktool for decompiling .apk file
1-Firstly extract the above downloaded apktool.zip  file to your  C drive.
2-Now copy the .apk file which you want to decompile  in apktool folder.
3-Now open cmd.exe and type :

apktool d name-of-the-app .apk

 example if my .apk file name is torch.apk then i will type : apktool d torch.apk
 4-process will start and your .apk file will be decompressed and you will see a folder named the .apk which you want decompile .
5- open the folder and now you can customize the app according to you.
6- after modifying apk again open cmd and type :

apktool b name-of-the-app-folder

example in my case name of folder is torch so my code will look like : apktool b torch 
process will start and compiling will start
7-The final modded app will be in the dist folder located inside the original app folder created by apktool.
8- final step is to sign the apk, for that copy the apk file inside Dist folder to your phone and download zipsigner.apk and with help of this sign the copied apk .
9- your modified apk is ready to be installed .
